Marketing and Administrative Associate in Skokie

The Kehillah Fund, an organization dedicated to unifying the Chicago Orthodox community by inspiring a shared commitment to Jewish education is seeking a Marketing and Administrative Associate. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with experience in marketing, communications and database management. This individual will support a variety of marketing and development initiatives, along with general office duties. Send cover letter and resume to apply.
Marketing Responsibilities:
· Work with marketing leadership to build a more robust, cohesive brand experience
· Serve as internal steward of brand integrity for visual, aesthetic and language in all materials
· Create and drive the content that will be shared on social media, email and web platforms
· Partner with marketing leadership in development and launch of new website and brand
· Collaborate on the development of marketing materials including annual reports, flyers, postcards, videos, and signage
· Manage a monthly marcom calendar that delineates multi-channel messaging that aligns with strategic goals
· Populate a monthly social media calendar to ensure alignment with messaging pillars and to create a more robust social media presence
· Provide monthly analytics reports of social media, website, and email
· Update website as needed and ensure integrity of content
· Develop, write and distribute press releases as needed
· Develop media relationships and maintain updated distribution lists
· Maintain archive of publicity and marketing materials
· Maintain archive of organizational brand assets (logos, templates, photography, etc.)
Administrative Responsibilities:
· Greet people and answer calls at the front desk
· Update and maintain database
· Follow up with donors with open pledges
· Print and mail letters for fundraising campaigns
· Track inventory and order office supplies
· Assist with monthly reconciliation
· Contact schools to obtain and/or provide information and communications for database
· Additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
· BS/BA in one of the following majors preferred: Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field or commensurate experience
· 3+ years marketing and communications experience preferred
· Strong writing and editing skills with experience crafting compelling content for web, email, social media and print
· Previous success managing simultaneous projects and deadlines
· Knowledge of and experience with content management systems, as well as email and social media platforms
· Knowledge of and experience with email and social media analytics and Google Analytics
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Database experience a plus.
· Team player who exhibits professional work ethic.
· Ability to communicate effectively with constituents.
· Experience working in the Jewish world and understanding of the Orthodox Jewish community preferred
